Arrowhead, the western gateway to the European-style Village-to-Village skiing concept. Known by many as "Vail's private address", Arrowhead is a carefully orchestrated blend of county club, community and premier ski resort, with an elevated level of service and convenience.
The community has 24-hour gate controlled access for maximum seclusion and security for its residents. Arrowhead Village has a distinctively European atmosphere and, like other villages in the Vail Valley, its meandering streets are closed to all vehicular traffic. Although Arrowhead is abundant with year-round activity, owners can make use of the free shuttle service to Vail and Beaver Creek for additional recreational options, shopping, and dining.
Some of Arrowhead's residences are located on the Signature Par 72, Jack Nicklaus designed Country Club of the Rockies golf course. This course was the Vail Valley's first private golf club and home to the 'Jerry Ford Invitational Golf Tournament' for 10 years. To further enhance the golfing experience, members enjoy the spectacular putting course, and elegant clubhouse, and a pro shop that has been rated by Golf Digest to be one of the top 20 in the country.
In order to further develop Arrowhead's reputation as a year-round premier resort, the Arrowhead Alpine Club is a full-use activity center, located at the base of the Arrow Bahn Express high speed quad lift. Membership to the Alpine Club is automaticually included in the purchase of an Alpine Club Condominium and many other properties within Arrowhead. Participation is limited to 600 property owners, so there are approximately 125 properties with the community that do not have a membership attached. Facilities of the Alpine Club include:
